My PBR event in Albuquerque a couple weeks ago went great, and sold out both nights. Mike White came out on top for the second-straight year, and won $27,880. I've gotten to spend a lot of time lately with renowned horseman Dennis Reis, and it's been a lot of fun. He came and spent a week with me here at the ranch the other day before his clinic in Fort Worth. I first met Dennis last year during the NFR (Wrangler National Finals Rodeo), where he puts on horsemanship demonstrations at the Excalibur. Dennis is a former bareback rider, and he's the real deal when it comes to horses. He studied under Ray Hunt and Tom Dorrance, who are the masters, and the relationship he has with horses is amazing. I'm going to help him with some of his clinics in April, and hope to spend the month of June riding with him. I'm headed out to visit some U.S. Smokeless Tobacco plants back East with Walt Garrison this weekend, and always enjoy spending time with him, too. Walt's a great guy and a funny guy, so it never feels like work when we're together. As you've probably heard by now, Jewel and I broke up recently. We're still good friends, and I'm sure we always will be. She just finished a new album, and will be touring soon with that. I'll head out on my "King of the Cowboys" book tour in about a month.
Here's where that'll take me: That's about it for now.
